Educating muggles on the Wizarding World
Those awaiting their acceptance to Hogwarts only to be left heartbroken when it didn’t arrive now have a shot at being a student. Whether you’re in Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, you now have a second chance at taking classes at the famed School of Witchcraft and Wizardry—virtually.
A group of Harry Potter fans banded together to create an online Wizarding World filled with magical curriculum, and the best part, it’s free!
Headed by some diehard Potterheads, Hogwarts is Here allows people to enroll in a realistic online course. Course loads are for everyone from first to seventh years, and classes include some of the most famous like Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions.
Other courses include the history of the magic and students can even take O.W.L.S exams. The open course directory allows fans to explore the material at their own pace and enrolled students even have the option of completing real assignments.
Upon sighing up, the student will be able to choose their character and house. From there, they can join a “dorm” based on their house and socialize with classmates in a private group chat. For those that don’t want to be a student, they have the option of being a House ghost, auror, magical creature expert, or any other magical occupation.
As stated on the Hogwarts is Here website, fans can “immerse” themselves at Hogwarts and earn house points, meet new friends in the common room and more.
