Disney lifts the veil and shows behind-the-scene access for Disney park rides
Seven Bucks Productions and The Nacelle Company are teaming to produce the docuseries “Behind the Attraction” for Disney Plus. The series will take viewers on a field trip, showing the history of how popular Disney attractions and destinations came to be, how they have changed over time, and how fans continue to show their love and support for them.
So far, Disney+ will be releasing 10 one-hour episodes as part of the new series. Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, Brian Gewirtz, and Kevin Hill from Seven Bucks Productions will executive produce alongside Brian Volk-Weiss, Robin Henry, and Cisco Henson from The Nacelle Company. The series will be directed by Volk-Weiss.
The Nacelle Company was called to work on this project after they found success with the Netflix docuseries “The Toys That Made Us,” which explored the history of popular toys. Past projects include CW’s “Discontinued” and Netflix’s Kevin Hart’s “Guide To Black History.”
Seven Bucks produced several of Johnson’s films such as “Hobbs & Shaw” and “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.” More recently, the production company worked on Johnson’s upcoming film “The Jungle Cruise,” which is based on the Disney ride of the same name and comes out next July.
With just one month to go before its launch, Disney+ has been steadily releasing more and more information about its new streaming service and the works that will be featured in its library content.
